PwC's Flexible Talent Network

About PwC's FTN

At PwC, we support a culture that encourages greater flexibility. Our Flexible Talent Network (FTN) gives you the opportunity to join the PwC team during our busy season and do what you want the rest of the year. FTN enables PwC to deliver quality services to our clients during our busiest time of the year. Whether your goal is gaining Canadian work experience (and developing relationships at PwC) or you have other commitments (your own business, travel, family or volunteer), the FTN program provides you with the opportunity to work seasonally - October to April - at PwC in auditing and tax functions and then chart your path the rest of the year.

What you should know about PwC's FTN

What type of people join PwC's FTN?

    • Suzanne

      Business owner

    • Tom

      Retired accountant

    • Maxime

      Non-profit consultant

    • This is Suzanne.

Suzanne is a former auditor who now owns a growing landscaping business. While this keeps her very busy during the summer, she typically has a lot of extra time to spare the rest of the year. Since Suzanne’s busy times during the year are different than PwC’s, she is able to enjoy an array of experiences working for PwC’s Flexible Talent Network while having her own successful business the remainder of the year. Suzanne sees PwC’s FTN program as a great way to combine a number of her pursuits. She can keep up her audit skills, connect with clients, work in teams and receive coaching – all useful development tools for managing her own business.

    • Meet Tom.

As a retired CPA, Tom spends most of the year on the waterfront as an avid boater. But during the winter season, he was looking to fill his time with some meaningful work. While Tom loves retirement, he always wanted to keep one foot in the business world. That’s when Tom joined PwC’s Flexible Talent Network. With his skills up to date, Tom didn’t require a lot of training. And now he can continue doing something he’s passionate about, while still keeping up his interests that he took on during retirement. It’s the best of both worlds.

    • Maxime has a lot on the go.

A few years ago, Maxime decided to leave the auditing profession to pursue his interest in helping others. Now a busy father of two, he offers accounting and bookkeeping consulting to non-profit organizations. PwC’s Flexible Talent Network is a great fit for Maxime. It gives him the flexibility to earn a steady income to support his growing family, while focusing on his other commitments for the remainder of the year. He’s happy to be using his accounting knowledge in so many areas of his life. It’s a win-win for all.
